Thor was quite badass in this comic, I read it just for this scene. It made me interested in Punisher though, he seems cool. Maybe it's the beard.

How come Thor looked the absolute BEST in this comic. His design in this comic was incredible

@HushoftheWind: Yeh he looked great, I like how the electricity is illustrated and the blue eyes.

@HushoftheWind: I agree. Other than a weirdly drawn nose in a couple panels, Thor looks absolutely amazing. This should be the new standard how he should look. It was also afantastic use of the character. He acted godly and didn't show weakness to those who have no right injuring him.

What idiot though Thor vs Punisher is a good idea? Punisher would be nothing more than a mild annoyance.

I went out and bought this issue to see what the hype was all about and hands down it was one of the most well-written Thor interpretations I have read in a long time. Thor's dialogue throughout was great and I felt it perfectly fit his character. The conversation between Thor and Punisher in at the end of the book almost perfectly summarized Thor as a character. Between this and Aaron's God of Thunder book, I think we can expect some good things for Thor in the near future. I really enjoyed it.

@coltnelson: Hopefully, Thor has been getting good writing recently.

I actually think that outfit looks strange. What's with the NBA/Allen Iverson sleeves? The detail is nice. Then again, I'm being spoiled by Esad Ribic's masterful work.

@HaveAtThee: Yeah the sleeves threw me a bit too. For the most part though it was a well drawn costume.
