Thor Odinson is the All-father of Asgard /God of Thunder, offspring of All-Father Odin & Elder-Goddess Gaea. Combining the powers of both realms makes him an elder-god hybrid and a being of no perceivable limits. Armed with his enchanted Uru hammer Mjolnir which helps him to channel his godly energies. The mightiest and the most beloved warrior in all of Asgard, a staunch ally for good and one of the most powerful beings in the multiverse/omniverse. Thor is also a founding member of the Avengers.
How old is he?
His age is usually depicted a bit inconsistently.
Different writers, different stories, a few that conflict with each other. In some stories we have an adult and mature Thor around in ancient Egypt, but some other stories, he is young and brash in 1000 AD. From what I remember a Ragnarok happened around 4000 years ago. The type that reset the cast of Asgardians. Then again the process of creating Mjolnir supposedly killed the dinosaurs as well, 65 million years ago. Throw in the whole Ragnorak cycle and mystical/mythological nature of Thor and I reckon anyone (writers included) could make up their own answer (provided its closer to being "old" than "young") and be right, naturally accepting that other people could assert other answers and also be right too.
I'd personally agree with the above answers, around 4000 to 2000 years old as far as current and familiar Thor.
Current Thor is probably 3000-5000 year old. But Asgard has went through many Ragnaroks so he's probably millions of years old.

I fanwanked that it was a hammer from a previous Ragnarok cycle
