i know dc has a thor and that hes evil but how powerful is he compared to his marvel counterpart
Thor
Character » Thor appears in 8586 issues.
Thor Odinson is the All-father of Asgard /God of Thunder, offspring of All-Father Odin & Elder-Goddess Gaea. Combining the powers of both realms makes him an elder-god hybrid and a being of no perceivable limits. Armed with his enchanted Uru hammer Mjolnir which helps him to channel his godly energies. The mightiest and the most beloved warrior in all of Asgard, a staunch ally for good and one of the most powerful beings in the multiverse/omniverse. Thor is also a founding member of the Avengers.
Dc's Thor
He has a few showings. The one I remember in partifcular is when he gives his Mjolnir to Superman after being killed by the Midgard Serpent or something similar.
Dc has used Thor as early as the golden age when Thor was in a Sandman story. This was a fake Thor but it is drawn by Jack Kirby.

Would like to see a Wonder Woman vs Thor story. The War of the Gods limited series had norse gods like Thor, Baldur and Loki.

I think you are getting your Thors mixed up. Savage Dragon Thor is evil. As far as I know DC's Thor is good.
This is true. DC's Thor has never been evil.
Image really screwed up when they made their Thor evil. What were they thinking?
As seen above, DC's Thor has appeared a number of times, question remains if the Vertigo Thor is the same (considering Vertigo and DC are in the same universe).
Vertigo's Thor however is... well, he is really top heavy, has a tiny hammer, is pretty rude and stupid. Loki has (in the Kindly One's) a really creepy tale about what he's done to the ignorant Thor (who is very violent towards Loki... but for good reason).

I've read up on Savage Dragon Thor and I cannot help but wonder the same thing. I think there is enough room to interpret the Thor of myths to be kind of stupid or a bit of a jerk. But outright evil? I don't see where they could get that. At least Hercules is portrayed as a hero and the one who usually stepped in to stop Thor.

I don't know why they ever thought an evil Thor would make sense or why they ran with the idea. Maybe Leifield and/or Larsen (the two creators who seemed to use Thor as an antagonist) secretly hate the Marvel version of Thor.
I agree; at least they got Hercules (Herakles) right. I happy they did.
@fernando072295reborn: What comic us that from????
