Will Thor be triumphant over the Growing Man? And which familiar villain spawned this gargantuan foe?

After winning the battle against the Trolls last issue, the Asgardians are celebrating their victory. Thor tells Odin that he had spent to much time away from Earth and that he wants to come back. Odin agrees and after denying Sif to go with him to Earth, Thor goes back.

Meanwhile, a museum expedition had discovered a small doll, that had grown to the size of a human already, and that had became alive and attacked the cops. More the cops hit the doll, more it grows up, till the size of a giant. The Growing Man then starts to seek for his master.Thor is called to help the cops in defeating this Growing Man, and when he arrives at the park where it is, he discovered that the Growing Man's master is actually Kang. Kang says to Thor that he has to hide his weapon (the Growing Man) in the 20th century in order to defeat his enemy at his future, but when he is escaping, Thor throws his hammer in a circular vortex around Kang, and then send him to a place out of time.
