    The Comic

    This comic is a full 16 page comic that was inserted into a newspaper in the the 1940's. The comic features three separate stories. The first is the Spirit, the second is Lady Luck and lastly is Mr. Mystic. The Spirit story is first and has the most pages as it is his comic.

    The Spirit

    The Spirit faces one of his most brilliant villains yet as he faces Mr. Midnight. Mr. Midnight gets his name from the exact time he kills his victims. He even arranges for a particular death in the Commissioner Dolan's office. The Spirit has to find out who Mr. Midnight is, how he is committing his crimes and capture him. No easy task.

    Lady Luck

    Lady Luck is kidnapped by kidnappers who do not know yet that the young deb they kidnapped is really Lady Luck. Lady Luck is put into a situation of capturing the crooks and not letting them or detectives Hardy Moore and Feeny O'Mye know who she really is.

    Mr. Mystic

    Mr. Mystic is in Dakar, Africa and soon discovers the the immortal Queen Rana is their on a path of murder and plunder to satisfy her lust for gold. Mr. Mystic is also unable to use his magic on her because of her amulet that also makes her invulnerable. She is more than a match for Mr. Mystic and he will have to use his wits to defeat her.

     The eyes of a MadmanThe Comic  This is another newspaper comic. This was a full size 16 page comic inserted into a newspaper in the 1940's. In this issue there are three stories. The first in the title story of the Spirit, the second is Lady Luck and the third is Mr. Mystic. Over all the comic is slightly above average but the stories differ greatly between each other.  Over all I gave the book a three-and-a-half star rating.
