    Amy learns the terrible secret of Jim Corrigan as the Spectre consumes her in his cloak, forcing her to behold his fearful origins!

    Amy Beiterman shows her intelligence when she discovers Jim Corrigan's identity after only a few days. Meanwhile the Spectre seeks Amy out to talk about a problem he recently had when he inadvertently caused a man to commit suicide. As they talk they about to be mugged and the Spectre takes care of business the was only he does.

    Amy is horrified by the Spectre but also intrigued. As is the Spectre. He then reveals to her the beginnings of his origin and what and how he became the Spectre.

    I liked this book because it at least shows the Spectre regretting of the suicide he indirectly caused.  This issue also shows the origin of the Spectre and why he is like he is.  It is missing a little but I hope that will come in the next issue.  Because most of this issue is a flash back there is a lot of creativity with the art and it is really good.  The flash backs are all precipitated by Amy Beiterman confronting Spectre on who he is.  I really like Amy.  She is obviously the female inte...

    SUMMARY :  In this issue, the police find the body of a man left at the bottom of the ocean for 50 years.  Amy Brennamen discovers it is Jim Corrigan, and confronts him about his true nature. He decides to let her in on episodes of his past. Letting her see the hard nosed cop who became the Spirit of Vengence.    REVIEW :   Continuing the fine quality of work, Tom Mandrake, and John Ostrander give us a tale of a cop who walks the line between hard cop and corrupt cop.
