In this issue, Imbohl looks into the afterlife and sees the horrible fate that awaits his nation should he fail. Meanwhile, the heroes of the Red Star continue their quest to lay seige to the legendary Prison of Souls: The Fortress of Archangel.

Imbohl's story continues and we see the frightening beginning of the use of human souls as "Post Human Energy" for magical weapons. In Maya's story of the crew of the Konstantinov's first mission, she encounters a being who knows far too much about her, and Kyuzo encounters a gun who likes him as well. In the present, Kyuzo emerges victorious.
