    Bob Barton, AKA The Masked Marvel, was originally a Republic Serial character that appeared on film in 1943 as a gun toting crime fighter who wore a mask, fedora, and a business suit. The character later appeared in 1990 in AC Comics Collector Classics Cliffhanger Comics in his own stories as illustrated chapters done in the same vein as the Republic Serial.
