With her father's death avenged, the Huntress' mission is finally over…but new troubles are brewing as a secret diary makes her the target of the world's most notorious serial killer.

Jessica Sharp is a reporter who has her face burned by acid for speaking out against the mob. The Huntress intervenes but too late to keep her from getting burned. Huntress then gives a copy of half of her father's ( Franco Bertinelli's) ledger to a police detective that she trusts to translate it. Unable to find someone to translate it he enlists the help of the Bookworm to help him solve the the code but the Bookworm has other ideas.

    Suggested For Mature Readers 0

This is the first Huntress book to be "Suggested For Mature Readers".  That said this book was made in 1989 and in that short amount of time I guess we have become more accepting of violent comics.  I say that because of how this would be compared to the media of today.  the book is really unremarkable in it's violent makeup.  It is no worse than any police drams you might see.  To be honest I should say it is way milder than any cop drama you might see.   I do not even think this would get a PG...
