    The trail for person responsible for Helena's father's murder leads her to La Bruja, a witch who rules her Manhattan voodoo cult through fear.

    Two detectives investigate a crime of blood that had been destroyed from a blood bank and there only suspect is a little girl. The police bring the child in for questioning but a local woman, La Bruja knows the child is incapable of that kind of crime and enlists the Huntress to help. Meanwhile Mandragora and Omerta the Silencer hide evidence to their crime in a safe and it is quickly stolen by the Jade Phantoms.

    I was disappointed in this Huntress story based on the character La Bruja.  La Bruja is a supernatural character who didn't seem to fit the Huntress mold.  Helena Bertinelli is the Huntress and at this point she is a brand new version of the character as she was just rebooted two issues ago.  She still hasn't found her father's killer or who and why it happened.  It seemed ill fitting for this supernatural character to pop up.  Can you imagine Batman dealing with a character like Dr. Fate after...
