History
Game Grid (1982)
A game simulation environment where programs fight in various gladiatorial games that are based on video games that Kevin Flynn designed while working at ENCOM. These games include the Light Cycle game, Disc Arena, and the Ring Game. For a time they were all controlled by Sark and the MCP. Flynn later nicknamed his digital world "The Grid" after coming back from The Game Grid in 1982.
Game Grid (Legacy)
With Kevin Flynn returning over the years after the events of 1982, he gave the game grid what seemed like upgrades, making it a better place, a better home with Tron and Clu. By building cities full of programs and then when they came around, ISOs, (before the genocide).
