"There's a lot of pressure"
Most of the information we have gotten regarding the production of the 'Green Hornet' film has not exactly been stellar. In the beginning, we saw actor Stephen Chow leave production on the film completely, production of the film was delayed, and the release date was pushed back considerably. However, actor Seth Rogen tells reporters that things are fine and there is nothing to worry about.
"Honestly, I think as a producer, a lot of your work is done before now...It's hiring the right people and making sure all the elements are in place and then trusting them to do what you hired them to do. But I'm there all the time, so I can make sure everything's going well. There's a lot of pressure. I understand that. I've been talking about this movie for years, and if it sucks, no one will be more disappointed than me, believe me."
Seth Rogen also indicated that there were times that it seemed as though Columbia Pictures might stop production on the project.
Seems to me like Rogen is feeling a lot of pressure to make sure this movie is a good one, and if it is not, then he will be the one taking the heat for it. From everything you have heard about the film, are you looking forward to seeing the film? 'The Green Hornet' will hit theaters on December 17th, 2010."It is, I gotta say, an enormous one," Rogen said. "You've still got to make it awesome, so the relief isn't [completely] there yet. I will say, I take a huge amount of the pressure. I understand that. I understand that it's my face on it when it literally comes out. Even if it sucks for another reason, people will blame me, and that's why I have to be so involved to try to make sure that it doesn't suck."
