    This is a Punisher (volume 2) story arc that happened in the fall/early winter of 1991 & 1992. It contained seven issues (numbers 53-59) and was published on a roughly twice-monthly schedule.

    This story arc follows Kingpin's attempt to break Frank Castle. While Punisher is initially forced to help Kingpin, he is sent to jail where he meets his old nemesis Jigsaw. After escaping, Frank is beaten and near death. He must decide to change if he wants to live.
