Pluto, King of the Underworld, versus the newly-formed Champions! California's super team must prevent the dual marriage of Venus and Hercules to defend the realm of the Gods. It's no easy task, but with the varied might of this crew, Olympus will tremble!
Olympian god Pluto, who sought to overthrow Olympian Monarch Zeus by forcing the Goddess Venus and Demigod Hercules into marrying Ares and Hippolyta. Hercules is aided by former X-Men Iceman and Angel, as well as Black Widow and Ghost Rider. After Pluto is defeated Venus returned to Olympus, Hercules and the other heroes decided to form a new super-team, the Champions.
