    The Avengers are called before the Security Council of the UN, where the Fantastic Four are on trial for failing to inform the UN of the Inhumans’ existence. Now, the Avengers have been called in as a neutral party to investigate the situation. Will the Inhumans be marked by the UN as potential threats?

    "Moonrise" Guest-starring the Inhumans. The Fantastic Four have been hauled before the United Nations Security Council to explain why the Inhumans and their homeland were allowed to relocate to the moon (in Fantastic Four 240) without full disclosure! The U.N. no longer trusts the FF, so they ask the Avengers to journey to the moon and negotiate peace with the Inhumans! The relationship between Earth's Mightiest Heroes and Black Bolt, Medusa, Gorgon, Karnak, Triton, and Crystal goes way back to many previous adventures, so their meeting in Attilan is a pleasant one. But there's another inhuman on the moon that the Avengers also have a past relationship with...a certain madman known as Maximus! And he's ready to commence his next twisted scheme to destroy the Earth and his royal cousins! When massive boulders begin launching towards Earth, the finger-pointing starts! And suddenly the battle lines are drawn between the Mighty Avengers and the Incomparable Inhumans! Will Medusa or Captain America or the Wasp or anyone realize what Maximus has done before time runs out?

    Cameo appearances by the Fantastic Four, the Enclave, and the Alpha Primitives.

    Flashback cameos by Nick Fury, Dum Dum Dugan, and Magneto.

    Avengers Lineup: Captain America, Captain Marvel, Scarlet Witch, She-Hulk, Starfox, Thor, Vision, and the Wasp.
