Brand New 'The Amazing Spider-Man' Movie Trailer
When the page first loaded I thought I saw Dexter in a spidery suit. I'm sure this actor will be great and I'm glad Shia LeBeauf isn't playing peter.
On the one hand I hate that there's stuff in here that seems reboot-ish - why do we need to constantly revisit the origin story in superhero films, can't we just all agree that it hasn't even been 10 years since the first Spider-Man and move on to other stories.
On the other hand, I like that we have a more wisecracking Spider-Man, and Dennis Leary as Captain Stacy - brilliant!
(But that girl isn't hot enough to be Gwen!)

This looks to be the best Marvel film ever. Avengwha?
THIS
Not bad not bad. Good choice with going with Garfield.
This has officially bumped down DKR to third most anticipated film for me.
i love toby i really was against the change but this trailer looks like it may put the original movies to shame
I was a fan of the first two Raimi Spidey films. And when i went back to watch them it was really the second one that still stands up the most to me. Raimi missed a big part of who the character was by having him so serious, and down all the time. This looks like the REAL Spidey to me. From him as Peter to his wise cracks, to the way he uses the webbing. All spot on. I take back everything. Bring it on!!
This really does look great now to me and I'm definitely seeing it. Emma Stone is SMOKING as Gwen Stacy. Awesome!

interesting, though he didn't make any jokes. The trailer was trying to be serious though. I hope he tries to make jokes when fighting villians or other-wise he won't truly be spider-man
Are you serious? Re-watch the trailer.

Spider-Man is funny. This movie is automatically better than the Raimi films.
I had this exact thought.
I've never been a naysayer when it came to this movie. Great cast and awesome redesign on the suit. You can tell everyone tried really hard to set this movie apart from what Sam Raimi did. I'm stoked for it. My only complaint here is the same one I had for the others. It still looks like too much of Spidey w/o mask. If the actor gets enough face time as Peter Parker, why have him constantly remove his mask?
I'm so sad that Gwen Stacy has to be played by Emma Stone....cause you know she has to die eventually...and seeing Emma Stone die will ruin life. :(

this is confusing o.o idk much about spider man but ya idk o.o
What's confusing about it?
This looks amazing. I predict this is gonna be better than the Avengers (which is gonna be great) and as good as the Dark Knight Returns. Only problem I see is that they kind of gave the movie away in the trailers. But some of the best casting I've ever seen. Dennis Leary is gonna rock the house as Captain Stacy and Martin Sheen as Uncle Ben? That's gonna be awesome. Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone were made for these roles.

Dennis Leary as Captain Stacy is pretty odd to me, but I think he will be pretty good. Finally a better trailer showing off the some rather great scene. Although I still not a big fan of the costume, but saying that it just got to grow on me. Can not wait to see this.
Pretty much this.
Still wish they'd continued the previous ones (I like Raimi), but this does look a lot better than that initial teaser.
Spider-man's jokes always suck, thats what makes him charming.Looks decent, but man, the jokes f***ing blow. I don't know if I like this Peter Parker.
