Spider-Island has Begun

I have been really excited to read this story arc ever since I heard it was coming out. So, to see this cover and to see that Spider Island has finally begun made me really happy. Also the art for this cover was pretty good. I love the concept of the Statue of Liberty with Spider-man’s face because spider powers are taking over New York.
Story
Spider-man is really busy with all the things going on his life like the FF, the Avengers, his job, and his girlfriend. Now there is something else to put on his plate and that is pretty much all of New York having spider powers.
Best Part
Like I said for the cover part of this story I have been really excited to read this story arc. This story was really a set up for what is to come in the story arc. Even bringing some story for the tie in’s like Venom and Spider-girl. I was happy that this issue was really there for explaining things and it was a perfect set up. Some of the things I am most excited for is everyone close to Spidey getting spider powers and I am also very excited to see that Kain is back in the story and seems like a very important player in this story arc.
Worst Part
There was no worst part in this story.
Art
I really liked the art to start off this story arc. This is one of the better arts that have been in the Amazing Spider-man series lately. My favorite page for art though has to be when the New Madam Webb, Julia, fights Spidey. I hope we see more fights like that in the future.
