Fitting end to a brilliant and fun ride 2
Now I’ve never been a big Spider-Man fan or follower of the Amazing Spider-Man series. I have dipped in now and again on story lines that interested me or when writers I liked did an arc or two but the revolving cast of creators put me off this book bit. When I heard Joe Kelly was stepping in to do an arc I was very excited. I was a big fan of the ‘Space Ghost’ mini series he did with Ariel Olivetti for DC and when I also found out that the story line would be the first to deal with how Spider-m...

Okay, it is official, I forgive Spidey for One More Day. This issue has change my opinion of Spider-Man. Sure I still think he's a whiny little idiot who never learns his lesson, but this issue reddems him and almost makes OMD worth it... almost. Harry is in super-suit and starts wailing on his Dear Old Daddy and Spidey talks him out of it. That's the story in a nutshell, but it has HUGE depth to it. Peter's relationship with Harry post-BND has been a really nice highlight of what (i might say) was lost over the years. the current relationship seems to have cemented itself with the character work in play here. as a Dark Reign tie-in it features Norman as only a Spidey title can, with everything you could expect from a guy whose meticulously worked his way into a position of unscruplous power. this issue, the last in the story arc, closes well. theres ample room between the redefining of the ...
