The series just doesn't make sense anymore. And not in a continuous continuity kind of way, but in a this is the 21st freaking century kind of way.
I mean, why in the hell would Skynet design machines with the sole purpose of exterminating humans, who look just like humans? It doesn't make any freaking sense! I'm sure it made tons of sense in the 80s. But now, in a world where robot killing machines are just a little closer to home, a robot bent on human genocide that happens to have teeth just completely confounds me! Why do they have teeth! They're not chewing on anything! They don't even speak! They just shoot!
James Cameron, I love you. I do. Avatar blew my mind. But I think it's time to put this franchise to bed.
Terminator
Character » Terminator appears in 197 issues.
The Terminator is a cybernetic military infiltration unit. Expert in all types of weapons has a large amount of strength. It can speak naturally and copy human voices, as well as other abilities. The Terminator comes in many forms; however, the T-800 seems to be the most iconic design.
Is anybody else totally over Terminator?
" @Hellos: I just couldn't stand that bloody kid. The T-1000 was great, but what's the point in having a Terminator that can't terminate? I mean it's like seeing a movie called "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre", and having the whole thing be about really good prices on gardening equipment. "
I don't understand, the T-1000 was killing a lot of people. If your talking about Arnold being ordered to not kill everyone he runs into I didn't have much of an issue with that personally.
Infact it made it more interesting when he's using a damn minigun as a non-lethal weapon lol on the cops.
" @FadeToBlackBolt said:Yeah, I meant Arnold not being able to kill, that ticked me off. Freaking kid. Whiney little craphead could never lead a resistance. I wanted Robert Patrick to stab him in the head for that entiree film." @Hellos: I just couldn't stand that bloody kid. Terminator Salvation had robots that looked nothing like humans, but instead had robots for different areas like water, air, and even roads, the human thing is just another one of those fighting fire with fire type deals, plus if your going to send a robot back in time to try and kill someone, making them all shinny and robotic looking in a place full of people who will freak out when they see it and try to attack it isn't going to help make the job any easier.
" @Asgardian Hulk said:" 1 and 2 were great. 3 was good and underrated. The last one was bad. "Agree.. "

I really liked the conclusion of 3, just the concept of being helpless to stop the apocalypse, even when you should have. Pretty cool stuff. But Arnold insisted on stinking up that whole picture. But this new movie just felt tired. Like they're beating an old carpet, trying to get all the dust out, but the dust has been gone for days.
One & Two are fantastic, the last five minutes of three were very well done. Salvation wasn't that bad I thought.
Any movie that puts a date on things gets old... I loved the Terminator movies, but yeah, it's getting to the point where it's pushing it. Do y'all remember the Transformers Movie (cartoon) that came out a while ago? Didn't that have a date on it too? I love the Transformers too, but the future we imagined is already here and it's nothing like it. A couple of series that I think will never get old are Star Wars, Predator, and Aliens. I wish they'd turn Avatar into a series too. Can you imagine Predator vs. Avatar? Clearly no contest there, but I'd buy a ticket just to see Predator have a field day!
The Terminator - 96 out of 100
Terminator 2 : Judgment Day - 100 out of 100
Terminator 3 : Rise of the Machines - 92 out of 100
Terminator Salvation - 92 out of 100
Loved the original...
T2 is my all time favorite movie..
Rise of the Machines was pretty decent..
I've not seen Salvation in its entirety..
Absolutely loved the series.
No! I like all of the Terminator films.
But, TSCC was my favourite thing to come out of the franchise.
The last Terminator movie actually wasn't all that bad, mostly because of Sam Worthington. His character alone pretty much carried the movie. I never bothered watching the Terminator TV show, though. The first movie was the best, though. T2 was very cool, but sometimes I think it's overrated.
i liked the 4th movie. i was tired of the whole "you have a desiny to fulfill, skynet tries to kill you" thing. i just wanted to get to the actual war part. personally, the best part of the series was the sarah conner chronicles. it's an alternate timeline from 3 & 4, but i didn't care. plus summer glau was awesome.
Terminator 1 and 2 were awesome sci-fi movies. Terminator 3 was good, but I hated hown John Connor became a cry baby. Terminator Salvation was awesome as well, people just don't enjoy it due to the different path it followed. The only complaint I have with Salvation is when Christian Bale chocked on the "I'll be Back'" scene.
