For all you other Teen Titans fans out there lets be honest there will probably never be a Teen Titans movie especially since the decline of the comic quality (saying this i don't dislike it i just haven't been really impressed yet). Despite this doesn't mean a fan can't dream, so in saying that who would you cast if the movie ever came into existence?

For me: Nightwing, Aqualad, Wonder girl, Speedy (despite Arsenal pic), Raven and Bunker

Why these six?

Well Dick Grayson/Nightwing is the obvious choice as leader and main protagonist. Using Nightwing instead of his Robin persona would be the clear choice in order to give the film more appeal to older audiences and give the feel that this film is branching of the Batman film series (DC's only successful film series).

Kaldur'ahm/Aqualad is a good choice because as we all no the DC universe can be a bit white and it's not like DC couldn't do with some diversity. Also he is a strong leader and a would play the role of keeping the team in check every now and then.

Cassie Sandsmark/ Wonder-girl, if there was a Teen Titans movie there would really only be one spot for a powerhouse and the wise cracking Wonder-girl takes down the moody Super boy any day.

Roy Harper/Speedy, Obviously the hot-head and aggressive Roy Harper would play the role as the team's rebel.

Rachel Roth/Raven, a dark and mysterious girl who can play the role of the pessimistic loner.

Miguel Jose Barragan/Bunker, some of you may feel that putting Bunker amongst these Titan regulars is a bad move especially since the 52 Titans haven't really performed but despite this Bunker is a funny character who brings not only comedy relief but also brings diversity.

Now for the villain of this film it has to be Deathstroke, he's intelligent strong and can surpass even some of the strongest leaguers. He will present a mountainous obstacle for the teenage heroes and along with some other minor villains he would be perfect.

Now for the toughest question who will play these characters?

Nightwing - I have no clue who would be able to play the leader i need some ideas

Aqualad - Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino was at the centre of a twitter argument that had come from the rumour that he would be playing spiderman in the latest film, as funny as the argument and the idea is i think he could pull it of.

Wonder-girl - Chloe Grace Moretz played Hit-girl in the movie Kick Ass and if she can play a 10yr old killer who swears like a sailor why not a young Amazonian superhero with super strength.

Speedy - Now this was a hard one because as we know there aren't many talented red head teen/young adults out there but who better then Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) to play Roy Harper

Raven - Ariana Grande currently a Nickelodeon star would have to take a big step up to play a main movie role but i can't think of anyone else i'd rather have playing Raven

Bunker - Once again no idea who could pull of Bunker and once again i need some ideas

Deathstroke - Who else but Stephen Lang he basically is Deathstroke

So who would you cast for the Teen Titans and who would have play them?

For a movie, I would use the 4 most popular non sidekick characters : cyborg as leader, starfire, changeling, raven. All of the sidekicks can be sent to the hunger games to get rid of all the sidekicks.

I don't care about the actors, but I do like your lineup. Normally, people just throw in their favorite characters or teams, but you seem to have thought about chemistry between characters, and I think this group would work well.

I can actually see them pulling off a Teen Titans movie, but nothing DC has done recently has made me think they have the courage for that. @colonyofcells said:

I'm being nitpicky here, but Changeling was a sidekick to Doom Patrol.

@BatWatch: Well that's the problem isn't it, DC still hasn't nailed Superman their most published hero and if we look at other DC films the only one that has actually worked was the Batman series.

I do not consider Changeling a sidekick. I don't agree with linking the origins of Changeling, animal man and Vixen bec. these 3 characters are more interesting if they each have a unique origin. Dc should do other super heroes and not try too hard on a Superman movie bec. silly superman might actually be a hopeless case. Warner Brothers should do more movies of Constantine, Tim Hunter, Gen 13, New Gods, Karate Kid, Titans (drop the Teen part and do not use the obsolete sidekicks), Starman, etc.

I'd dig a TT movie. I'd be extremely disappointed if Cyborg wasn't in it,though

At first Transformers looked like just a silly old cartoon from the 1980s but with some modern updates, it is now a big movie franchise. Dc has to do similar updates to its old silly properties so that the general public won't make fun of dc's super heroes.

True. DC is getting trounced by Marvel in the movie arena. It's a shame because their properties could work, but they seem intent to change them for the worse when it comes to the movies. Giving Hex superpowers? Giving Superman a son? Who wanted that?@202122 said:

I actually think a Teen Titans could have mass appeal. The key is that you emphasize them as a team of inexperienced superheroes rather than as a group of sidekicks. It would be a delicate balance, but I think you could craft it so that it worked well as a standalone movie, and fans would see the ties to the larger universe even if it only hinted at in the film.

This would give a Titans film a lot more personality should it be compared to JLA characters. You could probably even sneak in legacy characters who have been revamped as original, like Jaime Reyes, but I like the idea of a very young Mas y Menos who only speak Spanish throughout the entire movie, making snarky comments to each other about everyone else.

Ravagers has been a disaster and Harvest has been a disaster so Titans need a reboot already. All dc could do now was dump Superboy on Ravagers to try to save Ravagers but it is not going to work. Just reboot Titans and Gen 13. For a Titans reboot, just make sure to follow the Nolan no sidekick rule. For both the comics and the movies, Cyborg can be the leader of the Titans since Cyborg is treated like trash in the Justice League. The obsolete sidekicks can be dumped into the Young Justice League brand name.

If there was a Teen Titans movie it would not be good. If it was animated yes that would work. DC Comics are only good at animated series and some good movies. I know they will only do it animated. There doing a FlashPoint animated series movie this summer. They tried doing a Animated movie called Teen Titans it did not work well or it was canned. Since DC Relanch happened in 2011 there doing animated DC Movies about the relanch. They might even do a Teen Titans animated movie the heros in the relanch series.

After the Teen Titans tv series was over, there was a tv movie Teen Titans Trouble in Tokyo which was released in dvd.

Yeah, it is a lot of characters, but I wanted to show how many original titans there were, not necessarily pick out an actual roster. And there are more than these as well.

Also, it's debatable how much of Cyborg needs to be animated. Depends on how much they cover him with cybernetics and even then, the new Robocop doesn't look overly animated.

I don't believe a movie about sidekicks will be respected. I prefer a Titans movie with non sidekicks Cyborg, Starfire, Changeling and Raven.

We haven't had a teen titans live-action film but we do have Young Justice and it's pretty much like teen titans.

About your casting ideas, Ariana Grande should play starfire even though she's not in the characters list, because she has red hair sometimes, in two of her roles on nickelodeon shows ,victorious and Sam and cat she plays a gullible and naive character, it makes perfects sense, just sayin.

If I were to produce a movie about the Teen Titans, my roster would consist of the older titans, being Nightwing (in his blue and black costume), Troia (in her 2nd red costume), Wally West (in his yellow costume), Aqualad (in his Tempest costume), and Red Arrow (as Speedy). The film would start with the mentors of the sidekicks, having the teens band together against Deathstroke. The film later moves on to expanding the members against Deathstroke's Army (Cheshire, Cinder, Osiris, Black Alice, Son of Vulcan, and Tattooed Man). They invite Jason Todd (the current Robin), Starfire, Terra, and Cyborg. Jason dies, Terra leaves the team, and the Teen Titans recruit Raven, Beast Boy, Miss Martian, Impulse, and Argent. In the end, the Titans defeat the Army, with the assistance of the Justice League, Barbara Gordon, and Protector. Superboy, Tim Drake, Wonder Girl, and Aquagirl all are recruited in the end as well.

I don't know about all of you, but I think Logan Lerman should play nightwing....he played Percy Jackson why not nightwing?
