Some of it was shot in Kenya, making it the first Tarzan movie to be filmed in Africa.The film is frequently shown under the alternate titles Jungle Queen and Tarzan and the Jungle Queen.

    Radijeck, the leader of the gunrunners plans to sell two hundred guns to Bulam, a tribe leader who wants to rule the jungle and force Melmendi, a recently crowned queen of another tribe to marry him. Tarzan has to rescue Melmendi and her men and so he battles Bulam and kills him. Later Tarzan must rescue Jane, by knocking Radijeck him from Tarzan's tree house to his death.
