    Next to nothing is known about the mutant who calls himself the Surgeon other than Toad somehow came to ask him for help in creating an army. Never again wanting to be oppose be the stronger mutants Surgeon chose to help Toad and used his power to turn other mutants into red-horns toads who still retain their capabilities to speaks. After Toad was defeated the Surgeon was never seen again.
