It's the final showdown between Nighthawk and Whiteface! The psychotic clown thinks he's found the perfect dancing partner, but Whiteface doesn't begin to understand the darkness in Nighthawk's soul.

Chicago police announce the death of mass-murderer "Whiteface," the media's name for Fabbo the Clown, an identity assumed by escaped poisoner Steven Binst. In reality, Binst had disguised the corpse of drug distributor Treven Parnell before his escape from the burning apartment building.

Kyle Richmond (Nighthawk) discovers the death of associate and confidante Doctor Arredondo of Cook County Hospital, the latest of Binst's victims. As Nighthawk, he tracks Binst to a Cook County wastewater treatment plant, thinking that Binst intends to drop his toxic drugs into the city of Chicago's water supply. Instead, Binst dumps Baby Doe #209 into the holding tank. Nighthawk manages to save Baby Doe #209, and disembowls then drowns Binst.
