Not bad, not bad at all. 3

I'm not a big fan of many animated movies mainly because hand to hand fight scenes are hard to draw and choreograph when it's an animated character. Very few animated movies have great hand to hand action scenes, Avatar The Last Airbender being one of the select few that has action scenes that make it almost like your watching a real film. If action isn't done right, then we need a good story to fall back onto. Luckily this has a good story.  The film is based on the comic book arc written by Je...

    Loved It! 0

I really enjoyed this movie a lot.  Batman is my favorite DC Comics character, and Lex Luthor is one of my favorite bad guys.  I enjoyed seeing some of the lesser-known characters too, like the new Toyman.   SPOILER WARNING: Click here to reveal hidden content. Lex Luthor becoming President is a great plot; you can always count on Lex to be a real bad guy.  The reformation is never real. I liked this movie better than the previous ones (Green Lantern: First Flight, etc.).  There was some bad ...

    Caligula reviews : Batman/Superman Public Enemies 0

Well It's been awhile since I've reviwed any films on here, but honestly that's because I have been so absorbed in work (Hastings) and Playing DragonAge that I haven't really watched anything recently. But I picked up Public Enemies, here about a month or so ago.  and I must say overall I was pleased, the Animation was very easy to look at and extremly polished. I also like that they brought in so many DC characters in it. I here that it is based on a graphic novel, I haven't read the GN but if ...

Superman and Batman public enemies review 1

I really loved the animation in the film, it was sleek stylish and well polished. it almost looked like a cross between JLU and Batman the Animated Series. Also it gave me a very nostalgic feeling hearing Kevin Conroy voice Batman in a cartoon again, took me back to my childhood, it did.  although I think their could have been a few more action beats and that the movie could have been longer, for most part it was exceptionally well written, and paced decently enough to hold my attention. I don't...

Batman don't like Superman touching him 0

Watch the Worlds Finest take on the Goverment, Villains, Heroes, a Kryptonite asteroid, and they undying love for each other. Warner Premire and Warner Bros Animation Present S/B: Public Enimies, The sixth animated film from DC comics. Alot of the Voice actors, such as Tim Daley, Kevin Conroy, Clancy Brown and CCH Pounder, are reprising they role from the old Justice League cartoon.   The plot is recyled from the comics, but they are a few holes in it, such as skiping Superman and Batman meeti...

    Great animation 0

I went into this film thinking it was gonna be pretty cheesy.  I really haven't watched an animated film in a while.  I came onto somethng after watching it.  Great love for the movie.  For years I never heard of any older darker style stories in animated form from DC, but this delivers.  It has a clever story, great fights, smooth animation, and is very fun.  This movie does have a PG13 rating, so no your kids aren't gonna be able to watch it if they are 6 or younger without a guardian.  This i...

Not as Good as the Book 0

I read the book before watching the movie so I could see how they compared. While the book was better this movie is still good. One thing I like was they used a lot of actual dialogue from the book. I also liked the fight sequences and thought they were pretty faithful to comic. I can understand why they simplified the plot but would have liked it more if more of the original story was kept. I disliked the fact that they completely excluded the scene where all of the sidekicks come to the r...

Together Their the Perfect Team 2

By The Angry Comic Book Critic        This movie I flat out loved because it brought me back to one of the greatest places you can be when you've become a cynical adult your childhood. To me Batman and Superman the animated series where the embodiments of childhood a for a brief moment this film brought me back to the good old days when T.V had actually good shows and life didn't seem so damn complicated. This film stars three of the people who don't just act when they play these roles but a...

    Superb 0

I have got to admit before i watched this i wasn't expecting much from such a movie. Upon viewing it i have to say it has to be the best DC animation after Under the Red hood. Superb voice acting across the board, an inspiring and largely unforgettable score, decent character dialogue, it comes off as both an excellent adaptation and great story. Last but not least it does what it promises: 90 minutes of all out super fights.  The good Everything, from the score to the voice acting and character...

Superman and Batman Vs. the World 0

Superman and Batman have long been the top favorites in the DC Universe – and the only things fans love more than seeing them in their respective adventures is seeing them team up to take on evil. In fact, fans love the Superman/Batman pairing so much that in 2003, DC Comics launched an ongoing Superman/Batman comic book series as a reboot of the historic series World’s Finest Comics, which ran from 1941 to 1986.The first six issues of the new Superman/Batman featured a story called “Public Enem...

One Of The Best DCAU Movies To Date 0

This review was originally posted on my blog.Another DCAU review for you this time. Superman/Batman: Public Enemies is one of the best animated movies that have come out of DC’s animated movies line-up and it is one that I recommend highly. The sense of camaraderie between the two leads, the whole plot involving Lex Luthor becoming President of the United States and bringing some superheroes under his own banner and so on, its all really good stuff. And its got great humour, which is alwa...

Better than the Graphic Novel 0

So I'll admit that I've been a marvel fan for over 30 years mostly despising DC but in the past year I've been spending at least 3:1 dollars on DC over Marvel. One reason is that the writing is fantastic another is that while I never enjoyed the DC comics, I did always enjoy the animated movies and shows. So obviously I saw this particular animated movie years ago but was not interested in reading the comic. Well, things changed and while I read that not only did they do a terrific job with the ...

Will heavily attract the all action crowd. 0

The Earth is in danger as usual due to a comet the size of a small country quickly approaching. However, this isn't an ordinary piece of floating rock. The comet is made of solid green Kryptonite that was left over from Krypton which exploded ages ago. The new President of the United States, Lex Luthor, not only wants to stop the comet, but he wants to do it completely on his own in order to satisfy his ego.Being pressured to seek help from the world's superheroes, Luthor stages a meeting with S...

    superman/Batman Public Enemies 0

Superman/Batman Public enemies was okay. There was no character development and in my opinion a disgrace to DC animation. The whole movie was an hour long fight scene it really had no emotion. I also really disliked the whole Lex Luthor Kryptonite Doping thing. I do really appreciate the casting. Every voice fit their character perfectly except Captain Marvel he sounded too adult. I like my Captain Marvel not too childish but not too adult like the voice in Justice League War is perfect j...
