    i've read a lot of the n52 justice league and the 1st 30+ or so issues or superman and some of superman/wonderwoman but I don't have a full grasp of his relationships. Does clark really love Diana at the end of the day or is this N52 clark in love with louis?

    Diana. The final Days stuff couldn't be anymore clear if it just wrote "Clark loves Diana" on every page

    Inspector Morse's right hand man ^_^

    N52 Supes gravitated more to Diana, but only because he found it easier to relate to gods than humans because of the nature of his origins and his own insecurities in pursuing Lois. He settled for Diana just the same as Diana settled for him when she really loves Steve. I kind of doubt they've have gotten back together had he not began to suffer. Seemed more like pity-dating at the end of the day. If he comes back, he'll find Lois has powers now too, and you know Rucka and co will sweep Diana's days as his gal pal under the rug in favor of rekindling her bond with Steve.

    Not that it really matters, N52 Superman was not what he thought he was..he was a failed experiment of Oz, and the real Superman will always love Lois.

    @marvelfan1992:

    In the New52 Diana was Superman true love.

    They came together because it made sense. Why contempt with being with someone that can never understand who you are, what you do, what it means being you.

    And in that case neither Lois or Steve can ever relate to either Kal or Diana.

    But I give points to Steve for at least him pursuing or sometimes being Diana to pursue that relationship, in past timelines. There was always this dance between them.

    When it comes to Clark and Lois, it's always the same. Clark has to pursue Lois and never the other way around. Never saw a version where Clark wasn't the bit interested in her and she was, and had to fight for his love.

    Yeah Final Days of Superman made abundantly clear (even if Truth did a lot to tear it down) that New 52 Superman was in love with Diana, not Lois.

    @marvelfan1992: New52's Superman, Jr. is very shallow and elitist. It's almost creepy, really. Even though he was raised human, he can only relate to other metahumans. So he's supposedly really in love with Wonder Woman, even though he's treated her like shit before, angrily telling her that he didn't love her. It's like an unhealthy, codependent relationship, those two. They were basically brought together as a marketing move by DC and it shows. It's a very forced pairing with no real substance there.

    Apparently you never read Post-Crisis Superman.

    @drocta:

    And apparently you also don't know what you're talking about.

    Post-Crisis before PC it was always the same. The biggest difference was during Golden Age and some parts of Silver.

    After that it was always the same.

    Who put in the effort... Clark.

    Who was the one that didn't had a smug attitude... Clark.

    The only one that always falls in love with him, without him even having to try is Lana, not Lois.

    So get your LL straight. It stands for Lana Lang not Lois Lane.

    But you seem sure about it, so let's see how based on facts you base your claims. Show me a scan of comic where Clark isn't the bit interested in Lois but she is and she's pursuing a relationship with Clark.

    @heavenlydarkdragon: First off, lol at this self-satisfied srs bizness Comic Book Guy tone you've got here. "So get your LL straight." LOL

    Second, for the first few years Post-Crisis Clark flirted with Lois in a half-teasing way, knowing full well that she was super-pissed (no pun intended) that he scooped her on Superman and that he stood no chance. It was basically a trolljob. Yeah, he was attracted to her, but he wasn't sadsack pining away for her. He went off and did his own thing, like date Cat Grant. Lois herself dated Jose "Gangbuster" Delgado. There was no pursuit.

    Eventually Lois got over her pissiness (which had been made worse by the fake "The Kents raised Superboy AND Clark" cover story that backfired and annoyed Lois even more regarding the scoop) and she and Clark started courting and flirting with each other. It was a mutual, reciprocal thing that developed over about a year or so in realtime, with dates eventually culminating in a serious relationship and then proposal. Once again, there was no one-sided pursuit.

    QED, homey.

    This was one of the great things about Post-Crisis Superman line, btw--almost in a deliberately contrarian fashion it was always turning expectations on its head, subverting well-worn Superman tropes, AND exploring new ground. For some reason a certain group of comics fans have engaged in revisionism and falsely painted the Post-Crisis Superman line as safe and stale, and the New 52 version as fresh and trailblazing, when the exact opposite is true. The whole pseudo-Pre-Crisis shtick that New 52 fans go gaga over is the epitome of regressive. There's nothing more throwback-y than reintroducing Silver Age pablum like fucking Krypto the fucking Super Dog and superior paradise Krypton.* Along with a zillion other retread things updated only superficially. Dullsville.

    *Granted, that stuff first happened with Post-Crisis at the turn of the 21st Century with Waid and Johns and co., but that's barely Post-Crisis Superman... quintessential Post-Crisis Superman started with Byrne and continued for about a decade throughout the Triangle Era.

    Obviously Diana man even his double tha killed him said so. HE said so he wanted to marry her and have kids. Although strangely the writers tend to not shown this.
