Christopher Reeves alone is enough for the definitive look.

Tom Welling is my definitive Superman look. Its a shame is was never incorporated into the comics. After that is Christopher Reeve followed by Henry Cavil, but that is likely to change as Cavil makes more movies.

Cavill is most handsome Superman. Reeves is best Clark.

I think Tom Welling doesnt even belong in the discussion.

Reeve’ s look for All-Star Superman, Cavill for modern, everyday Superman, Welling would forever remain Smallville’s Superboy for me.

True, but I wish he was just a tad more muscular.

@allstarsuperman: I would actually prefer a superman around his build. In comics you don't need big muscles to be strong and its not like he works out or anything.

When I see Reeves as Superman I am always blown away and think "Whoah, that really is Superman. It's really him."

When I see Cavil's Superman I smile and think "*Gulp* It's Superman!"

Tom Wellington never gave me that /Superman/ feel but seeing him on that TIME cover is good enough for me.
