@BlackArmor: LOL
I say hell yes. Though Superman's a tough character to get a game for. Flying is a really difficult mechanic from what I understand.
I can't tell if any of the comments from those users are facetious. How is Superman 64 the greatest Superman game? You couldn't drop people from a skyscraper or throw them into the sun.
Does anyone remember the awesome looking Flash game that got scrapped, It isn't impossible to make these games look good, I guess its all about the gameplay which might be hard in Supermans case
@Gambit1024:
indeed
@sesquipedalophobe:
lol
@I'maDC/ImageGuy!:
Well...at least the majority was positive about this.
@Avenging-X-Bolt: ...Y U NOT BE POSITIVE???because it's not realistic. Superman NEEDS a good developer to have a good game.
@Primmaster64 said:Yeah, but getting Dini behind it is as good a start as any. He hasn't done anything other than express interest in a powerful superhero game.@Avenging-X-Bolt: ...Y U NOT BE POSITIVE???because it's not realistic. Superman NEEDS a good developer to have a good game.
@Avenging-X-Bolt: * brings in a bat to hit Avenging-X-Bolt and hides it behind his back* So....you are saying that Rocksteady are not a good developerno. that's not what i'm saying.
did rocksteady say they wanted to do a Superman game? no. Paul Dini said he wanted to write one.
Paul Dini does not equal Rocksteady.
@Avenging-X-Bolt said:good point. but i'm reserving any opinions for when i see a developer.@Primmaster64 said:Yeah, but getting Dini behind it is as good a start as any. @Avenging-X-Bolt: *Facepalm * Once again we are at odds.then let's just drop it.

I've never seen that before. What's the story behind that epic looking game??

@Avenging-X-Bolt: ....Ok.... Hug?
I see where this is going. Wa-a-a-a-a-a-chicowow.
I think Paul Dini doing a Superman video game would be awesome. Superman has not really had that great of video games and I think if Paul Dini was on board to make a good Superman video game than we might have another Batman Arkham Asylum, which is an awesome game, except with Superman.
Now that i think aobut it, the new 52 action comics version of superman could work well in a videogame with the jumping instead of flying mechanic
Knowing how Superman is treated, the license would be given to some half-assed company *cough Sega *cough, that will just make it some typical crappy button masher with no care for a good story, game mechanics are a living believable world. Happens every single time. If Rocksteady HAD some interest (which they don't), that would be the only time I would ever touch another Superman game.
Hence, my hopes are never high for a good Superman game anytime soon.
@SaintOfKillers: Sorry, but if Superman coudn't fly at all in the game, it shouldn't be a Superman game.
@Deranged Midget: Where did Rocksteady say they weren't interested?
@Gambit1024: IIRC, in multiple interviews in the past they have mentioned they little to no interest in Superman due to him being such a hard character to integrate into a game. Therefore the reason they stuck with Batman.

Well that sucks. But then again, Rockstar's been great at games like Batman or GTA, so I can't be too upset they wouldn't go for Superman. They'd make a hell of a Daredevil or Captain America game if they had a shot at them though. For Superman, I'd like to see the guys who made inFamous get a crack at Superman (Sucker Punch I think they're called?). I think they'd do a better job than a majority of other companies.

this looks very very very similar to the Speed movement class in DCUO
@Gambit1024: We'll see what happens. I'd want to see the guys from Rocksteady have a go at a Spiderman game perhaps. Captain America is too similar to Batman,
@Deranged Midget: Perhaps, but they can always add firearms and such to the list of things Cap can do. Also, with the serum, Cap's abilities could have him hit harder, move faster, and perform serious acrobatics Batman can't do
@Gambit1024: Hmm, it could work but unless they sped up the combat and movement or integrated his shield in an interesting way, all it would be seen as is a Batman clone. Even though I very much enjoyed the recent Captain America game that came out not too long ago.
@Deranged Midget: Still, if anyone could make it interesting, it'd be Rockstar. I haven't played the recent Cap game cause it was Sega and they can't make a game like this to save their life.
@Gambit1024: They didn't do too bad of a job with Captain America surprisingly. I enjoyed it quite a bit and it was fun, nothing special but still fun. Don't expect a good story though.
@Primmaster64: Lmao, because we got carried away. I already posted my thoughts about future Superman games :)
