    I am relatively noob-ish when it comes to Supes's comic life (I keep updated via comicvine), so I would like to start reading some Superman, but I cannot decide who's run to read. I won't restrict myself to New 52, so any versions will be fine.

    However, before I choose which to read first, I want to know some details of each Superman.

    I want to know:

    Boyscouti-ness: How much of a boy-scout is he?

    Clark/Supes-ness: Is Clark just a disguise, or is he really Clark?

    Power: Is he weaker like in S:TAS, godlike like in All-Star, or around the middle?

    I'm specifically interested in Pax, Lobdell, Loeb, Waid, and Winnick.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    If you like Loeb, Check out Superman for all Seasons.

    I never saw Supes as a boy scout. He's more of a 4H kind of guy.

    He's really Clark in this one.

    He never really goes all out power-wise in this one as that's not the point of the story.

    @mrmiracle: Thanks.

    Do you know anything about the others? I've heard Lobdell is terrible.

    @kumquatodor Yes...yes he is.

    If you want to read a new 52 superman try Action Comics 1-18 + 0 issue + Annual #1

    It's not only inspired by his very first appearance & Golden Age skills & personality, but it's also big on Clark Kent.
