    Superman

Character » Superman appears in 18942 issues.

Sent to Earth as an infant from the dying planet Krypton, Kal-El was adopted by the loving Kent family and raised in America's heartland as Clark Kent. Using his immense solar-fueled powers, he became Superman to defend mankind against all manner of threats while championing truth, justice, and the American way!

Confusion with Action comics and Superman comics.

As most people will know, Action comics will get a new creative team that plan to bring superman up-to-date. They say it will be a year before the current timeline (superman comics i presume) but what I wanna know will this be set before H'el on Earth or will the current timeline also skip ahead. Also I know it features Lex as a main villain so I don't understand how the Oracle comes into it seeing as he's being introduced in Superman 17# or how Superman even goes back in time. It's just i presumed he would be sent back after H'el which if was the case, It should be Superman comics set on Krypton with the black suit.

Maybe I've over thought things. Any help would be appreciated.

My impression is that dc is getting desperate on what to do with Superman to increase interest in Superman and now is putting a black suit on Superman again. My suggestion is to do more revamps or rebootso n Superman to bring Superman up to date. As for Oracle, I don't think anybody is looking forward to another Galactus clone similar to Imperiex. Hopefully, H'el ends soon bec. the name is just dumb.

Andy diggle the new writer for supes said the black suit is only going to be temporary. If you have actually read some superman comics you would know that superman is already up to date
