A great way to celebrate Superman

*A Review of the Full Comic This was probably the best Superman story I have read. It felt like a fusion of the champion of the people, the silver age, and the modern Superman and something new. This story is a conspiracy mystery story that had me hooked 'til the very end. The story asks where his loyalties lie and what he stands for. This comic has a enough character, action, and twisty plot to keep you invested in the story. The plot is essentially the government has had a Superman like being for 75 years and he's been helping them in crisis. Now he's here to question Superman's allegences. One of my issues with the comic is I think it would have worked better if it wasnt tied into the New 52 to give the story more freedom. I also think that there could have been a little more time spent on his supporting characters. They were there but they also didnt feel there. It could have used some time with them. This was a comic celebrating the Superman mythos and I would have liked to have seen Clark spend more time with Jimmy and Lois. Other than that I have no complaints. The art was fantastic and the plot was really good and the story had a nice feel to it. I would highly recommend this story.

Besides Man of Steel this was however the one I was looking most forward to, as with my favourite artist, Jim Lee, and the brilliant writing ability of Scott Snyder, it's bound to be amazing.PlotWhen satellites sta...

Superman unchained: Snyder seemed to have left a few chains on 0

      1. Cover art: 4.5/5I LOVE Jim Lee! He is the reason I fell back in love with comics. I LOVE Superman, especially when he is drawn by Jim Lee. This cover is definitely unique with that Jim Lee flair, but in a previous post, I stated I would never give a full 5/5 when I believe the artist, even as great as Jim Lee, phones it in with the feet! WHY DO THEY NEVER DRAW THE FEET! Please, draw a great cover and include the feet, stop masking it in rubble, or smoke, or water, or whatever, draw the feet, ...
