    In "Superman" #712 we get a break from the painfully mediocre "Grounded" arc and get a fill-in story by Kurt Busiek. It's a story that was never published titled "Lost Boy: A Tale of Krypto the Superdog".  There's nothing inherently bad about this issue. In fact I can see where this story would reverberate with certain readers. While I did see it as a cute and mildly touching tale, it never spoke to me louder than that.     A story told in the eyes of a "Super" Dog 2

    While Grounded as a story arc may or may not be a lovable story, this fill-in issue is a refreshing release for any comic connoisseur. The story is called "Lost Boy, A Tale of Krypto the Superdog" and it really is a great example of great comic story-telling.  Comics are a very visual medium so the pictures can tell a lot and since the story is told in Krypton's point of view Kurt Busiek and co do an interesting thing with the silent narration of the book.  Some Flashbacks are done in black and ...

    A Lost Tale about a Dog and his Boy 2

    This story really should have been published sooner, given that it is set during the events of 52 where the Big 3 Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman are missing and seeing it now is kind of disjointing but I suppose given the DCU reboot, it had to be published before then Synopsis Set during the 52 storyline, Krypto embarks on a search for his master, Connor Kent unaware of his fate.
