Hey, I've been enjoying the new Kara and her attempt to playthrough the DC Universe and unlock the 100% Renegade Mass Effect trophy as much as the next despairing and frightened Supergirl fan, but you do have to start asking why she's even bothering to wear the Super costume at all any more, given her agenda and attitude.

At this point she has more momentum for going full-on villain than most actual villains ever had.

Is it wrong that I'm actually interested and excited about seeing this play out?

It's not wrong to want to see this play out. What I want to know is, will Red and Green Lanterns readers want to read the main Supergirl book while this is happening?

I don't know why but I always thought Supes would make a great either red or green lantern seeing as he's got considerable will power and when he's p****d he does go on one. So seeing his cousin becoming one makes a bit of sense.

Jokes aside, if this is just a temporary thing then I don't mind, I might actually get this. Plus a double sized flip cover issue for $2.99, that's a BARGAIN nowadays. At least DC hasn't overcharged.

I think dc is gonna keep Guy a red for a long time. As for supergirl, that definitely temporary.

@jwalser3: after reading issue 27 tonight, the current creative team has brought Kara's wonderful charecter development to a screeching hault, taking her all the way back to the first story arc, and now the red lantern news, il never buy an issue of supergirl again. Thanks dc for making me hate one of my favorite books and heros.

It's just a quick way for Tony Bedard to undo all the damage Scott Lobdell has done to the character and it's only 3 issues I don't see why people are so pissed off.

The cover for Supergirl 30 is amazing!

Slightly off topic, but it would be cool if the Outlaws gained some red rings for an arc. That'd be pretty awesome.

@theacidskull: I'd be worried but Charles Soule has been killing it on Red Lanterns and it's probably my favourite book DC are putting out right now. And the interviews I have read say that Tony Beddard wants to turn Kara into a more likeable character.

The Red lantern story line is just a quick way for her to process the grief and rage she has.

For the first few issues I enjoyed Supergirl but I've gotten to the point where I can't deal with this nonsense.

I miss Pre-52 Kara :/
