Supergirl
Character » Supergirl appears in 3428 issues.
Kara Zor-El is Superman's cousin and last survivor of Krypton's Argo City. She has a brash and defiant personality that she developed in response to the destruction of Krypton. Currently, she's operating out of National City alongside the D.E.O.
Kara haveing a child with a human
In Action Comics Annual #11, Jor-El mentions that a human and Kryptonian are unable to have a child together...so that'd be a "no".
In fact, I think yellow sunlight is not really optimal for Kryptonians to be pregnant in at all, even when they're carrying full-blood Kryptonian children. Logically, the kids would be deprived of solar radiation (=powerless) by the time they're born, while their mothers are super strong and invulnerable...unless some of the yellow sunlight is somehow distributed to the kids before birth (not that I'd know how that would work).
" @~The Wanderer~: Daxamites have become pregnant by humans, so maybe jor el was wrong... "Then again the Daxamites weren't pure-blood Kryptonians, they had interbred with Daxam's native humanoid population (that might be closer to Earth's humans, genetically).....or, as you said, Jor-El could just simply be wrong xD
Note that in some Elseworlds stories, human women have been pregnant with Kryptonian children...Son of Superman and JLA: Created Equal.
As far as what Jor-El said, maybe he just meant Clark couldn't impregnate a human. But with Kara, I think she could get pregnant with a human male. I don't think it needs to be that complicated for either one of them to be perfectly honest. I have a hard time believing Jor and Zor-El would send there only children away to safety, just to die and never continue the Kryptonian race.... not together of coarse, with Lois, and whoever Kara gets with. I think if Lois and Clark wanted a baby, they should just make love under a red sun lamp... Truth be told, I just wanna see Clark be a dad.
On a side note, I'd like to see Kara and Tim Drake hook up. I have no reason for this other than they look good together, and it's a nice twist on the Bat/Sup family dynamic. Batman's son is dating Superman's cousin.
Clark and Lois wanted a "hybrid" for a long time, but Clark's explain her it's physically impossible as Kryptonian genes are not compatible. Kryptonian just looks like humans, they’re very different at the cellular and molecular level, apparently." can Kara have a child with a human with her powers intact that is. "

"Here's the scan in question, and yes it is directed to Kal although Jor-El is not being gender-specific about it. And believe me, I want Kal to be a dad too :P
On another note, even though Superboy's an artificially created hybrid, it does show that it's not technically impossible for there to be Human/Kryptonian hybrids, it might just not be possible the *cough* natural way. >.>
" @~The Wanderer~: I'm sad so for Lois and Clarck. They would be great parents! Why not adopt someone who isn't a fast-growing-mutant? "LOL, while they have yet to do so in the comics, they did try that in the Lois & Clark show once...they weren't allowed to though, since it was determined that while Clark could be a good parent, Lois would probably not...don't remember the exact details.

Yes, but they have stupid ways to bend scientific concepts in comics. In my opinion anyone who claims to be a sci-fi writer should investigate things a little further.
Also why not adoption? - Perfect choice for a alien man and human woman couple.
a human being doing it with her
of course adoption can be great too but Kryptonians are kinda rare these days, plus, a mixture might bring something more powerful.
Agreed." I kind of like seeing Lois with Chriss. I have faith her character. "
I think regardless of whether or not Clark and Lois have a natural or adopted kid, their kid should have powers of some kind...
"Perfect choice for a alien man and human woman couple. "fairly ODD couple if you ask me xD
" @Calvin said:Or they could - finaly - use kryptonian technology in a character. Imagine a regular human but usign Krytonina technology like Batman or Ironman use high human techAgreed. most of it has been lost and the only remaining one's are either on earth where Zor-El resides or on New krypton, where, i'm not sure if it's original Kryptonian tech
Superman has been know to build awesome things! Including weapons and such things. And yes he could use New Kryptons stuff or even use some tech on his smal ship. The smallest Kriptonians gadgets could give someone trained the edge in a fight.
I know this is from an alternative universe but I always like to see superman using gadgets instead of just his biological advantages
" Yeah, but they cling to the excuse that Wonder Woman has a super strong uterus..... But, honestly, what everyone in the industry is ignoring is that...... IT'S A COMIC BOOK. Nothing is set in stone, and if people can come back from the DEAD, then Superman can have a kid with Lois "i concur with that logic
Wait!(way off topic)so in Superman Returns that isn't superman's kid then, the one Lois Lane had?
Because he threw a piano... O_O
" Wait!(way off topic)so in Superman Returns that isn't superman's kid then, the one Lois Lane had? Because he threw a piano... O_O "they say it is but they really messed that movie up.
personally i think they should use that kid and say he is a clone of supes and lex that was implanted in lois thats why lex asked "whos the boy's father."
" Wait!(way off topic)so in Superman Returns that isn't superman's kid then, the one Lois Lane had? Because he threw a piano... O_O "Don't you start with Superman Returns. I mean.... where to start? so many great plots and they go and invented that thing!
" Wonder Woman is human and she had a kid with Superman So did Lois Lane from another time line "Both were in Elseworlds though...in mainstream continuity, Supes has never had a biological kid (that wasn't artificially created).

I'll be as PG as I can be.
Provided a male did his part (and survived her thrashing around and her 'muscles' as Methos once put it) of attempting to impregnate Kara I find it very unlikely that the male's seed would be able penetrate a viable ovum if it was able to even reach an ovum.
There was a side story somewhere where the Atom travelled through Superman's cirulatory system, lungs and visited various major organs. IIRC, he likened Clark's circulatory system to a raging river coming through a firehose. Atom could barely fight the current, but he had the equivolent of a jetpack.
There is a similar current going down the falopian tubes in human females which gets the ovum to the uterus, and I don't think any human seed would be able to get to that far without some major assistance.
Maybe in a bedroom flooded with red solar radiation provided that internal female anotamy was similar enough to human female anotamy, but I don't see a feasable way that such a child would come to term as any thing other than a normal human child, if it came to term at all.
wow Satyrquaze that makes sense thank you very much for explaining. but any human male would love to try to get Kara pregnant shes a babe.

Brainy? O_o Wonder what the kid would look like...if Kryptonians and Coluans are even compatible at all.
Since Kara is kryptonian(and assuming she is still a virgin) how would a human break her hymen also even before that how could he put his ***** in her ***** since the muscles "down there" would be so ridiculously strong(by human standards) he might not even be able to get it in. So unless(as stated before) there is some red sun energy or gold kryptonite, I don't see Kara even having sex unless it is with another kryptonian, daxamite, or any other person in that strength category.
"Wait!(way off topic)so in Superman Returns that isn't superman's kid then, the one Lois Lane had? Because he threw a piano... O_O "That's because Lois's new bofriend was Cyclops (James Marsden) and it was their child, the kid was probably a Mutant :P
I did not make the connection that Lois' new guy was Cyclops. Very interesting. So it could be his son. My friends and I had a theory that Lana's son from the 80's movie was really Clark's (AKA Kal El). Maybe this is what caused Lana and Pete to divorce.
If you mix Comics with alternate timelines, Smallville's blue kryptonite, and the recent Sup movie, it seems that Kal-El could have a bio child with a human or part human woman. Linda Danvers (AKA Matrix, supergirl, fireangel) had a daughter Ariel El with Kal El. She's part human, part alien, part mutant I think.
So maybe with the use of Blue Kryptonite, Kara could have "relations" with a human guy without ripping off important anitomical parts, and become pregnant.
