He was really different. His personality reminded me of Kell-El from the legion of Superheroes.
Kon-El
Character » Kon-El appears in 1740 issues.
Conner Kent, also known as Kon-El, is a human/Kryptonian hybrid clone of Superman and Lex Luthor created by N.O.W.H.E.R.E. for the purpose of being the mantle of Superman. Instead, he stuck to his own path, and became a member of the Teen Titans.
Superboy was awesome in Young Justice,but...
first episode wait til he meets members of the opposite sex and gets more time out of his test tube then the immature over confident girl hunting superboy will appear.
the show was awesome but you're right...he's never been that temperamental before in the comics...but given the different circumstances of his "birth" I kind of see the reason behind it
Don't get me wrong, I like this new Superboy, I was just pointing out that he was more seroious than his comicbook counterpart.
Give it time. You're asking for everything to be perfect in the first episode.
If they focus on anyone it'll be Robin. Since Batman's the one giving them the missions. However they won't. They'll have a group and more people will enter. Like CM3, because they wouldn't have Captain Marvel in it for no reason.
" first episode wait til he meets members of the opposite sex and gets more time out of his test tube then the immature over confident girl hunting superboy will appear. "I'm hoping for a leather jacket, a fade haircut, and an ear ring
they could do without it . i know it sorta define him but he looked silly" @Telcalipoca said:

" @Telcalipoca said:nothing against the jacket earing or hair there all fine so long as you dont combine them while wearing spandix, thats what made him look silly." @danhimself said:that style looks silly NOW but back then it looked cool...times have changed lol "" @Telcalipoca said:they could do with it . i know it sorta define him but he looked silly "" first episode wait til he meets members of the opposite sex and gets more time out of his test tube then the immature over confident girl hunting superboy will appear. " I know nothing of Superboy from the comics. How is he different than from how he was in the show? "he seems a lot more aggressive and angry in the show...in the comics he was a stereotypical 90's teenager smartmouthed and hitting on every girl that walked by
" @danhimself: I see. Was he also a clone in the comics? Cause I think thats the reason why he was so rash in the show. I mean, wouldn't you be like that if they created you to be a weapon? lol "yes but the circumstances were different...in the comics Cadmus was making a replacement Superman that they could control during the Death of Superman arc...plus it was the 90's..all teen males in media acted that way...plus he was freed before they could put the mind implants in...or so they thought...turns out Luthor got to him before the Cadmus scientists could
Well In the comics the newboy legion helped him escape before cadmus could really mess with his head. But in the show I believe they'd have enough time to put in some implanted suggestions and control him through mind control.
" I also get the feeling that he probably isn't going to have his trademark Tactile Telekinesis and there really seemed to be no signs of it at all and his origin was dumbed down to be just a basic Superman Clone instead of how it was originally or is now. "Well that's the thing, we didn't see alot of his abilities, we know he didn't have heat vision.Which is how he started out in the comics, he showed no abilities besides strength and I think flying, both of those are abilities he mimiced with his tactile telekenisis. So it could go either way, I mean he's superboy so I figured they would try to make it simpler they'd just give him kryptonian powers.
It looked like flying but they later made it so that he was only jumping really high so he doesn't yet have flying. The shows whole angle on Conner was that he was going to be very true to his comic origins and how he was represented during his first appearances and back then however they have exactly only used the very basic of his origins (cadmus made clone of superman). I kind of get the filling they are going to ditch the TTK power and just make him like Smallville Clark in the first few seasons where he was developing his kryptonian powers throughout them which in my opinion has been over done and a real shame without his TTK as thats his signature power and one of the major difference that made the character not just some teen version of Clark.
Yeah it looked like Robin and kid flash were actually holding him back and with flying well, it was one of the original powers he instantly had as soon as he was broken out of his tube in cadmus so if they were going to give him TTK then of the Kryptonian powers it mimicked back in his first series he should have 'strength, flight, invulnerability, and some speed.
Finally got around to watching it, and I hope he doesn't stay this moody for long. Or he can be moody until Wonder Girl shows up. Either is good.
