    The Farm Boy Returns 0

    After Geoff Johns and Francis Manapul left Superboy, we all thought that Conner is getting shelved again.  Well maybe not all of us, but I sure did.  Then I found out that Jeff Lemire would pen Conner.  This makes perfect sense.  Jeff Lemire is still on the rise and it maybe safe for me to say I am his biggest fan on Comicvine.  Besides launching the Sweet Tooth facebook group, I've meet Jeff a few times in Toronto.  Meeting Jeff Lemire is not why I fanboy over his work.  I fanboy over his work ...

    The starting of the adventures in Smallville 0

    Cover The cover I think has great art and got me excited at the same time. You do not need so much on a cover for it to be a good cover and I think this cover proves that. Story Superboy thinks to himself that he always wanted a childhood and thinks about what it would be like. The Phantom Stranger shows up and tells Superboy that since he is in Smallville he is putting the town in great danger. Then tells him that he is urgently needed at the Kent Farm and Ma Kent almost fell over watering the ...

      Well, it is yet again time for Superboy to begin anew, with a new writer, new artist, and a new book. My relationship with Superboy is an odd one. I was never a huge fan of his character, and yet I've read many books with him, including Conner's original 90's solo book and his more recent Adventure Comics run. For a character I never really seem to crave, something always seems to draw me towards the exploits of the Boy of Steel. On that note, I was actually very excited for this comic and aft...
