    Rick Flag decides to go to the base of the Jihad to destroy them where it hurts--and heads to plant a bomb in their base!

    Rick Flag decides to go to the base of the Jihad to destroy them where it hurts. After implanting a bomb, he is attacked by the leader of the Jihad, Rustam. It seems they have died in the explosion.

    This story is tiold in the past tense in the form of a letter to Eve.  Rick admits his failures and in order to atone for his actions in Washington he has traveled to Jotunheim to destroy it.  Most of the issue takes the form of of Rick either infiltrating the fortress or fighting Rustam.  Unbeknownst to Rustam though Flag has a surpirse and will finally live up to the "Suicide" part of the name of the team.  In terms of a heroic sacrifice this issue fell a little short at times as it seemed a l...
