In the final part of the odyssey, the Squad takes a wrong turn...and winds up in the Meta Zone, home dimension to one of DC's strangest heroes: Shade the Changing Man!
As the Squad continues spinning from the destruction of the reality they had been in, Eve opens a portal which takes the Squad to another strange realm before Eve passes out. The Squad is then attacked by natives of the new dimension, as Bronze Tiger leads them into battle while a stranger wonders from a far where the Squad has come from.The Stranger then attacks driving off the monsters, before using Nightshade and his vest to teleport him and the Squad out of the realm.They then teleport back to Belle Reeve as Waller has Shade report to the briefing room to fill them in on his urgent mission.He then fills the Squad with the addition of Captain Cold in on the three dimensions.
The Squad with the returning Rick Flag then leave to stop Wizor.They defeat his students as Shade leaves with the Suicide Squad.
