(REVAMPED thread for the one which got 'taken' in the Storm thread genocide).

Over the period of tumultuous years since Ororo Munroe's creation, we (die-hard) fans and opportune on-lookers have witnessed a variant scope of moments in which Ororo was the POV or the person experiencing such moment. Majority of these moments have helped shape and define the lovely woman we're familiar with today. Some of these moments are absolutely breath-takers and some are just down right ignoble but her intentions may well never be known, and some of these moments...down right cute. So what moments had you on the edge of your seat ? Or moments that had you thinking "WTF WAS THAT?!"

Not that there's much to say after that, but any of your favorites: from the comics, TV series, movies...practically anything, post your favorite Storm moment here !

Naturally, i'll start -

This is an occurrence that i will never forget. We're always hit with the idea that Ororo's such a regal, sophisticated and poise character. Almost never loosing her cool under the usual (granted the following is not usual) of circumstances unless necessary, but more to the point--words don't usually inflict so much harm, except in this instance, when she was presumptively at her most vulnerable. But, again, during the first part, putting on such a brave face, she still manages to stand confident in the midst of so many odds, flinching not. One of the reasons why i love her character so much.

Lol...loved when she dropped the building on Juggernaut. TAS Storm was so BOSS. So many moments to choose from. I'll have to come back to this one.

@windcaster: Nice :-)! And agreed. Despite how I felt about Hudlin's handling of Storm in most of time under his pen, he did give Storm some pretty good moments. This was definitely one of them.

I have several moments that I would deem my favorite but one that really stood out to me was her characterization and showings in WAP. Here we were able to see the dynamics of her character such as being unsure about her role as it relates to her husband , the X-men, and her place as queen to her commanding and reassuring herself and the reader that she could do both (be X-men and Queen/Bride to T'challa). Ultimately she ended up having to choose but within this short run we were able to see so much of Storm and who she is. It also was nice to some nice showings from the All-goddess from H2h to powered feats:

Taking on the xmen by herself:

Sensing the X-jet as it cut across the skies of Colorado while she herself was in Wakanda:

The Storm and Gambit one shot was pure gold.

2) Storm thrashing that mutate never gets old to me >:-). Watching her mix her dagger wielding and h2h skills should gave Emma a huge skid mark in her panties lol.

@butterflykyss: W.A.P. :-D...what I would give to have Yost write Storm regularly. I never understood why he has not been given a shot at writing an x-book of his own. His stories, including X-Men First To Last, were so much better than Fractions, and much more interesting than Gillens IMO. I hope he gets a sot at a run on one of the Marvel NOW books.

No Xavier oversight. No shared leadership with Cyclops. Leading her team, her way. This is the main reason why the original XXM is my favorite x-run to date. This is the bold, confident and fearless Storm we miss.

I am hoping from something more conclusivefor both characters though next month from Hickman. Though they seem to act like it would it kill Marvel editorial to end their debacle with a good chat between exes as they mop the floor with some bad guys? Though I suspect they are leaving this open on purpose. I was reading on Hickman's CBR forum that Hickman was at one point planning on having Storm and T'challa still seeing each other privately remove that from his story.

And it was written by Hudlin (?) who most Storm fans seem to constantly bash, yeah, i never really did find anything bad with his portrayal of her, save for the fact that he brought her into a specific role and refuted from developing the character after that.

Warren Ellis' run of Astonish X-men was Great. Storm was off the hook. I love how she took out that creature and Emma kinda just sat and watched. Storm and that knife... She is vicious! lol Black Panther is Lucky there was no knife around during their fight in AvX: Vs! LOL

It's pretty sad. This GIF of Storm tornadoing a build at Juggernaut does more justice for Storm than Wolverine and the X-men AND the X-men Anime did for her in both seasons....

Both of those shows Fail... at least when it comes to Storm anyways...

OMG YOU BETTER PREACH!!!! She was so freaking weak in both but extremely none useful in the X-men Anime. They shouldn't have even included her on the roster for those showings she gave.
