Not all her costumes have had the tiara, her eyes don't always turn white, all her costumes haven't had a lightning bolt on them, not all her costumes have had a cape, she's always had startling white hair.

The white hair is the most consistent.

But i want the tiara to be pushed as her iconic symbol.

One specific thing doesn't come to mind but it's definitely her hair. You say Storm and a white haired black woman pops into mind ..y'know, if you don't immediately think of Storms first :p

Storm's X would be it. She's not really an A list solo act. She's part of the X-Men.

Well, Storm was really more part of the X-men, who for the most part were initially pushed as a team with only lesser focus on single characters, thats why she doesn't have her own symbol, similiar to how the Fantastic Four or many Avengers members didn't have their own symbols. If I had to choose I would go with white hair.

Not every character needs one but she does have one and it's the X. Yes it's a team symbol because she's a team character. She's dedicated her life to the X and it represents who she is. Giving her something else would undermine her at this point.

@jhazzroucher: It is the X. Just because other people wear it does not mean that it is not hers too. That would be like saying that Batgirl needs a new symbol because the Bat is a bat family symbol and not hers.

@jhazzroucher: I still say it is the X. Like Wolverine, she don't need another one. In the most critically acclaimed stories from Wolverine's solo he didn't even wear a costume or any symbol.

The thing that makes her the most recognizable as a individual is her hair, but I wouldn't really consider that a symbol.

Alright. I want to change the question. What if Storm will have her own iconic symbol and not the "X", what would you like it to be?

I'd say a lightning bolt, but both Shazam/Captain Marvel and Flash come to mind first. Maybe a tornado?

unquestionably, at least for me, it's the white hair. coupled with the blue eyes and dark skin. She's practically unique in appearance. Almost no other female character is as instantly recognisable from a head shot only.

A tornado would be awesome. :)
