    Born to an American photo journalist and Kenyan princess, Ororo Munroe is one of the most recognizabe superheroines in the Marvel Universe. Using her unique ability to see and manipulate natural energy patterns of the universe to summon any type of weather phenomenon she desires in the blink of an eye, she is called Storm.

    She had several for me:

    80's was her 1st major development period

    90's when she the TAS group blew up in popularity and secured her longevity in the comic-verse

    2000 - 2004 XXM period was a great development period for her as a character and leader

    2010- present period was a very mixed bag. She languished for the first 2- 2.5 years, finally got some development under Wood, a greater though not fully utilized role from Aaron and Latour, and some great development and attn from Pak. Lemire's off to a decent start with her helming the X-Men and being the face of mutants so we'll have to see what he does with Storm during his X-tenure

    80's.

    I didn't like the way Lobdell wrote her in the 90's. In the 2000's she was barly in the X-Men.

    I'm going with the 90s. This is the era in which she was the most popular.
