I don't like the hair. The long white hair makes Storm recognizable and Halle is ruining it. Halle looks more beautiful with the white hair. if she wants a short hair, she should go for the mohawk

If it's Singer directing the another film, don't expect lots of action. It['s gonna be like taking a while for them to use their powers. and we might not see the x-flyers like really flying. And the outfits are not gonna be good.

I hope I am wrong because I want X-men films to be the most successful among comic-based films.

I was hoping for a long white mane too. She was denied good hair in the first and last X-men movies, X2 was ok but why is it so hard to give her the glorious hair she deserves. I also would have accepted a faux-hawk look to pay homage to that classic punk look, but no we got this...?

Agreed. The short hair is a bit of a shock- It really, really is HALLE BERRY's version of Storm. Let's all be honest Halle looks hot with this hair-- it just doesn't look like Storm, really..

Hopefully, it's not ALL about the outfit-- and more about the acting, script, story and final product. Although I do wish it was a little less pilot/sci-fi and more casual xenogensis or punk storm look. Just sayin'

This look makes a lot of sense if they're using the "Days of Future Past" story line. Halle Berrys version of Storm will be set in the distant future, so she needs to appear a little older, at least 10 years older than what she was in X3. And I believe the costume is probably finished. We're not going to see her in something super sexy or flashy with the emblem "X" all over her because Storm and the X-men are being hunted and Mutants are either killed or placed in concentration camps. The X-men aren't sitting pretty in a mansion anymore they've gone underground to stay alive. As far as the hair, i'm not complaining. There's been a couple versions of Storm with very short hair including the Age of Apocalypse Storm, which is also set in the future. Now take another look at the costume and think of Storm as underground outcast/warrior, battling everyday to survive or maybe a Mutant version of Harriet Tubman lol.

I must say that this is one of the most sensible statements I have seen since the photo has been released. EXCELLENT EXCELLENT POST!!

I actually kinda like it, It does have a war torn feel to it and she is bound to look older, it has been 7 years since x-men 3 and women age more than men looks wise, but I think it works well because of the fact that they are in a crazy future. plus lets not forget that it may look like this when the photo has been taken either on an Iphone or a camera but when its on film with all the other effects I bet it will win a fair few people over :D

Most of these insults puzzle me. Halle is playing Storm, so of couse the character is going to look like the actress playing her. Why are people complaining about her age if the movie is set in the future? Did they complain the guys in First Class were to young? (Technically some might have been too old)

I get some people don't like her skills or how the character looks, but I'm guessing her appearance is somewhat intentional.

It looks like Storm is playing Halle Berry instead od Halle Berry playing Storm! Halle looks a bit aged, damit she's too old to play Storm!

I don't care, it reminds me of a mix between these two in a way. Maybe not the best two costumes to mash into one-- but it's working for me. Not to mention-- and let's not forget-- She IS a few months pregnant.

I am surprised a lot of people don't like it. I think the military look they're going for works for the dystopian future that the X-Men will be in. If they're going to be battling sentinels then they're going to need durable body suits, spandex doesn't really protect the body as much. The hair I actually like it looks like the perfect alternative to a Mohawk Storm looks much edgier and badass. I think when we see this on screen coupled with the magic of movie make-up and great cinematography she'll look much better. I can't wait to see her on-screen I just hope she is written better than she was in the previous movies. Here's hoping for a great Storm!

@lykopis: ikr .. when i first saw that photo i was like WTFFFFFFF honestly she looks like catwoman from the future ... honestly storms hair keeps getting worse in the movies in x-1 they got the length right in x-2 not to sure but i liked the way the back was done but the mullet looked stupid in x-3 i liked the colour ... perhaps it should be a combo of all ? the lenght of x-1 the curls of x-2 and the couour and puffyness of x-3 :) i dont really know to much about hair so its just what i think should happen ... oh and i think they should loose the cape ... she doesnt wear a cape in DOFP and they better get her flying fight
