Seriously.... I am confused. At first Everybody and their mama hated them together Now half of yall are acting like they were Marvel's perfect couple...
You are all entitled to your own opinions, it's just I still don't think they brought out the best in each other as opposed to other marvel couples.
They posses the potential the be a great super couple, but if the majority of their respective fans and the people at Marvel comics can't or won't get behind it then no. Through Storm's marriage X-Men the writers never once have her show her new found political might or even have T'challa help out his wife or any other X-Man. They don't have to remarry, but I don't see any reason why they can't take it slow as friends and see what happens.
I was originally excited about the pairing... but since Marvel hasn't made any interesting stories with them being together and has in fact made fewer and lower quality writing for Storm when they were together... I'm happy to see it over.
It's like a real life date. I gave it a try but in the end it just wasn't meant to be.
As I have said I loved them together and that I am reconciled to them being apart (although I despise the manner in which executed) I would like to see them reconcile a friendship as confidants. They had a long and deep friendship (yes they were involved prior to marriage) and she was his conscious and feared he was a half step from becoming Magneto and tried to steer him away from that. She is one of the few people he doesn't dismiss out of hand and I liked to see her have a role on the Wakandan court. She was very important to that country and they to her and it is the epitome of lazy bad writing not to acknowledge that.
I knew as soon as they put them together that nothing was gonna come from it. You can't just stick characters together like that and I hope Marvel and DC learns from this.
No they shouldn't be together and honestly I hate the idea of kids between them. Ororo needs to let her hair down and have fun for a few years after marriage.
Hanging out with her closest friends Logan,Kitty, and co seems like just what she needs. Wouldn't mind her dating Wolvie since they been together before anyway.
No. They were brought together on a poor (retconned) premise and then instead of making them this huge power couple in Marvel and pushing them, the writers let things stagnate.
