Harry Houdini, Elsewhere’s agent, needs to find out the secret of a robot coming alive, in order to save his friend Aldous!

December 1918. While America is celebrating the end of World War I, there’s a disquieting figure roaming New York’s back alleys, sending panic waves through the population. It’s a robot who inexplicably escaped the movie studio where Harry Houdini – the “escape artist” who’s surprising the world with his astonishing shows – is filming his first feature. But the celebrated illusionist is a secret agent of the mysterious “Elsewhere”: when his old friend Aldous Morrigan goes into a coma after a dramatic turn of events, Houdini’s only choice is to find out what gives life to the big metal machine. The terrifying truth about it is to be found in the diary of another famous man of their time: writer Jack London. The tale of one of his adventures in the snows of the Yukon is concealing the secret of the robot !
