If you remember the early issues of the original Static series get behind me on this one.
Imagine ultimate Spider-man with an electric dude.
Who's with me? Huh?
Static
Character » Static appears in 185 issues.
Virgil Hawkins was exposed to a mutagenic gas that swept his city of Dakota, which gave him and other 'bang babies" superpowers. With the ability to control electromagnetism, Static joined the Teen Titans and continues to protect his city while serving on the team.
Static in his own series? :O
Edited By Gylan Thomas
Virgil could stay with the titans. Other characters have been Titan's and had solo adventures too :)
" If you remember the early issues of the original Static series get behind me on this one. Imagine ultimate Spider-man with an electric dude. Who's with me? Huh? "I'm with you.
"If you remember the early issues of the original Static series get behind me on this one. Imagine ultimate Spider-man with an electric dude. Who's with me? Huh? "I'd read that series.
McDuffie and Robert L Washington III. The same team to catch the same old magic.
Maybe Not Jean Paul Leon though. Still like his work but his style's a little dark now.
It's all about the team behind it.
When Static first got his own series he had no recognition factor at all.
What about series like the red circle stuff?
Took me literally years to find #4 of Rebith Of The Cool but I did it in the end.
Used to like the thrill of the chase with comic collecting too. Trudging through shops, marts and conventions to find some elusive back issue. Internet's sort of taken that away.
See I used to be very loyal to my favourite characters but in recent years I've moved more towards writers.
For years I was buying stuff just because of the character and some times not really enjoying it that much.
I got the first three first time round but the fourth just never showed.
Those early issues have to be soem of the most underated comics in the world ever. I'd love if they could do that again.
Erm....Honestly? Yeah. These days only Spider-man though. Used to buy just about every thing by the big two. You can imagine it got kind of expensive.
Is Batman Beyond an ongoing? I thought it was a mini.

Don't get me wrong. I do see your point. I'd settle for a decent one shot. It'd be a start :)
Maybe they could give fill out his DCU history a little. Apart from some Brave and Bold issues not a lot's been doen with the Milestones DC time.
" @Mutant X: Virgil could stay with the titans. Other characters have been Titan's and had solo adventures too :) "
I'm sold.
