Ok, so I was wondering what a Static Shock movie would be like and I came up with this idea.

    It would be a trilogy.

    Static Shock

This is the first film in the series and as one would guess, it obviously explains statics origins. The main protagonists would be Virgil/Static, Richie, and Frieda. The villains of this movie are Hotstreak and Holocaust.

    Static Shock 2

This movie takes place a year after the first and Virgil is now a sophomore in high school he also comes into contact with a new girl named Daisy Watkins, and develops a crush on her. But unfortunately, trouble is right around the corner when Edwin Alva's forces from both his industries and STAR Labs are trying to hunt him down as Static and he also has to deal with this new vigilante named Dusk who may have ties to the corrupt business man.

    Static Shock 3

Virgil, Frieda, and Richie are on the verge of graduating high school. Things have been going rather well since the traumatic double whammy with Dusk and Alva and Virgil is considering retiring his Static persona. But Dakota is quickly plunged into Chaos when a new villain named Ebon and his gang composed of the bang babies known as Shiv, BubbaSaurus, Talon, and a recovered Hotstreak take over the city and soon they take control of other gangs and make their criminal empire even larger. Now Static has to jump into action one last time in order to save the city.

I'll go into detail about these ideas later. Feel free to create your own ideas.

    Static

Origin story. Virgil adjusts to his new life as Static. Hotstreak is the main antagonist so that we can see Static start his superhero career on a smaller scale. He overcomes his fear of Hotstreak and defeats him at the end. We see the first appearance of the Metabreed.

Static 2 Virgil has settled into his life as Static. Virgil meets Daisy and comes to terms with the relationship between Larry and Frieda. Midway through the movie he finds out about Rick's sexuality. He runs into the Metabreed battle ensues until they escape.( Your idea of Edwin Alva here). Toward the end of the movie Virgil comes to terms with Rick's sexuality. Frieda discovers that Larry is part of a gang. Static goes to stop the imminent turf war between Larry's gang and a rival gang, upon his arrival he sees Larry get gunned down. After telling Frieda the sad news Virgil gives up his identity as Static.

I'll post some more when I can think of an idea for part 3. My idea is that I would try to make it so that we see Static's progression from street level to a full-fledge legitimate superhero. He goes from stopping petty crimes and bullying to bumping heads with the biggest baddest villains in Dakota.

Static Shock directed by Duncan Jones

Dakota City is one of the most powerful cities in America. Its rivers pass through hydro-electric dams and provide power to most of the Midwest. As the home of the most cutting-edge solar, wind, nuclear, and geothermal power facilities in the world, it's also home to some of the brightest minds in the country. Unfortunately, it's also home to some of the most heinous gangs in the country, including the Five Alarm Crew and the Blood Syndicate. Dakota PD could take a harder stance on crime, but it allows it to flourish under its watchful eye--for profit of course. Dakota has its angels--like Larry Hawkins--who fight to set America's most powerful city on the path to a brighter future. But it also has its demons--like Edwin Alva--who find it more reasonable to cut corners, cheat, steal, and kill to get ahead.

Virgil Hawkins, like Dakota City, has a lot of power and a lot of potential. But he has a lot to learn about what that means. His mother was killed recently on the South Side of Chicago while in the line of duty, and Virgil's been forced to move in with his father and sister, who he hasn't seen in years. At the start of the movie, Virgil doesn't want to have anything to do with them or with Dakota. That may be because he thinks that he's responsible for his mother's death (even though he's not), so he wants to protect the family he has by keeping them at arm's length. Despite his conflicts at home, Virgil is a quick-witted, incredibly bright, young man, who can do whatever he wants with his future--he just has to figure out what that is.

As the new kid in school Virgil has a couple of close friends: Freida Goren and Rich Fogel. Virgil is crushing on Freida, but she only sees him as a friend and she's taken anyway. Rich Fogel is a pretty fun guy, but he's hiding something--specifically his gay relationship with the closeted captain of the football team. After being attacked by Biz Money B and his Five Alarm thugs and having his macho-ness seemingly called into question by Freida, Virgil decides to skip his college interview to get some payback from Biz Money B.

    Edwin Alva... [To be continued]
