Formerly warrior Princess Koriand'r of the now-destroyed planet Tamaran, Starfire found a new home on Earth and a new family in the Teen Titans. She was once romantically involved with Dick Grayson, and often dealt with hostilities from her older sister Blackfire. Starfire has also served with many other teams such as the Outsiders, Justice League, R.E.B.E.L.S. and Jason Todd's Outlaws.

The only thing I dont like about Nightwing & Starfire together is that I dont like all the aliens & outthere sci-fi, magic & whatnot in the Bat world. I dont mind Batman in the JL, a GL Flash, or Superman story, but not them in his.
New Titans is a better comic series than anything with Babs and Dick together.
The best stories ever told with Nightwing in a relationship were with Starfire. This is how it has been for nearly 30 years and this is how it will probably be for a long time to come.

@buns134: I meant because he is wearing the Bat costume. My kids read comics and know Dick and Kory are an item, but when I showed them this pic they looked confused (my boys are 9 and 7). So... to the average comic reader this might catch them off guard a little... then just make them laugh. *wink*

@buns134: Yeah, by now most of the ideal poses and locations have all been done when it comes to comic book cover art. This is probably just a recycled pose the artist thought to use.
Grrrr Starfire pisses me off Like she's been here forever and she is still retarded about like everything, like i mean i understand at first when she got here everything was new and different to its ok. BUT IT'S BEEN 30 FREAKING YEARS!!!! Nobody is that stupid. My parents came here from the other side of the world, they have been here for 18 years and they know like everything they need to know by know. Starfire has no excuse she has had plenty of time to learn the basics, now im just going with a mental condition. Plus WHY THE HELL IS SHE NAKED IF SHE IS A WARRIOR!!!!!! IT'S BULLSHIT ALL OF IT IS BULLSHIT!!!!! Honestly i get that she is nice and all but still BULLSHIT! Wonder Woman is a warrior and her costume is skimpy sure but at least her organs are protected. What's Starfire's excuse. God it's so frustrating.

She was friends with Raven but his issue may be worst kind of fan service. Any miss when fan service means seeing our favorite characters does something badass than… well what the internet has too much of. Seriously, if you are a fan artist stop putting your mind out of the gutters and use your talents for good use, And to the professionals you are not helping with work like this.
Black fire was an evil dictator when read in Wikipedia I thought she was more a deeper character in the comics. When I see the images and her bio I think she under control of Sleez with wanting her sister in bondage and having her rape. What is she suppose to be Caligula? Someone needs to check if she has a disease.
I personally can't stand her inability to grasp basic Earth concepts when she can learn entire languages simply though touch. That just doesn't make sense to me.
The lack of clothing, while it does stoop down to using sex to sell, doesn't bother me in this case. I've always disliked it when Thor's costume became too armor-like over the years. I mean, he's one of the most durable people in all Marvel and I almost possitive those armored costumes are weaker than his skin. If it's going to penetrate Thor's skin, the armor isn't going to help at all. That said, though Kori is a warrior, she doesn't really need to wear armor because the only materials more durable than her are far to rare to craft entire sets of armor from.
My biggest irk here is when Raven revealed she was carrying Dick's kid and then poof... She wasn't. No explanation, nothing... I had to come up with my own scenario for what happened instead.
Dick: "Oh heya babe! I was just cooking us some breakfast and I was wondering if you wo... What's wrong?" Kori: "I have something to tell you... It's serious." Dick: "Baby, are you okay? I'm here." Kori: "No, it's not like that. It's just... Raven... She... She told me that I am carring our baby. I'm pregnant, Dick." Dick: "The hell you are! FALCON PUNCH!!!"
@Zoom: I like Dick with Kory better as well, but didn't Dick break up with her recently? Or did I hear wrong?
Regardless, I do like Starfire and Grayson as a couple better than him and Babs, it helps him to break away from the Batman universe and become his own hero.
But he is Batman now, and I can't see Dick and her working together as long as he is wearing the cowl in Gotham. She doesn't really fit in that world unlike Babs who is already a part of that world. So that is one of the reasons I prefer Babs over her. Of course as long as he continues to be Batman I think he will be alone, like Bruce.
And I want to like Starfire, and sometimes I do, but every now and then there is something about her characters that bothers me. I mean she had a very tragic past with her parents dying, her sister enslaving and torturing her even to the point of allowing some of her soldiers to rape her, and then she was later captured and tortured by another group of aliens. Talk about a tough life. It all makes for a very sympathetic character, but then she just acts so carelessly, or ignorant, and it is annoying. Sometimes she just acts a little too carefree for my liking.
