I learned from a conference that Starfire's new outfit is here to stay, he doesn't want to change her outfit.
Starfire
Character » Starfire appears in 2171 issues.
Formerly warrior Princess Koriand'r of the now-destroyed planet Tamaran, Starfire found a new home on Earth and a new family in the Teen Titans. She was once romantically involved with Dick Grayson, and often dealt with hostilities from her older sister Blackfire. Really? That's great. Did Lobdell himself said that?
He did, but the funny thing is that he didn't want her to keep that outfit. You can read it from here

It's the 1st post that says Last Vegas Conference, Scroll down till you see Starfire.
Okay, the ONLY version of Starfire I like and find interesting is from the Teen Titans cartoon. I gotta ask what is so wrong with her wearing the costume from Teen Titans? When I think Starfire, I think THAT costume.
I still like her old outfit:
But I love this fan art of her:

@BecauseISaidSo: Thank! I love that she's keeping it. I only hope Timothy Green II gives her justice.
I like it (yes more purple would be nice but the blue goes with her orange skin nicely, maybe a color splash on the boots) and as someone who frequently rolls his eyes at most female heroes "costumes" (and by costumes I mean swim suits) its nice to see a full body treatment and seriously armor that's awesome.
It seems odd that she's keeping her "space" outfit while the rest of the team is going back to there regular suits especially since it didn't appear to effect there agility on Tamaran and you'd think the extra armor would be a plus. Curious to what Lobdell's original plan was for the character's outfit post space was, obvious guess based on Jason and Roy's would be a return to form. I'm hoping for a quick explanation from her as to why she's keeping it as is and not even going for a variation on it.
Wasnt Starfire's outfit designed to play on the fact that usually the female villains wore the super slutty revealing costume, which the hero Starfire wore, & Blackfire the villain wore the costume that covered up the most, when usually she'd be the one wearing the super slutty revealing outfit? If so, then thats how it should stay. Newer writers should not change the thing the character was created to represent.
The spacesuits looks great, I would not mind if that's the new costume, but for me it's not a matter of costume as it is the idea that the comic was censored at all. (assuming this is the reason for the change) There are 4 series in New 52 I'm interested in and Red Hood is one them, because Starfire, so I hope DC didn't mishandle this.
