I recall reading somewhere that Tamaraneans can absorb solar energy even more readily than Kryptonians, and that Starfire used this ability to drain energy from General Zod's troops during their attack on earth.  Is this true?  I mean, it does make sense that Tamaraneans would be able to drain solar energy from Kryptonians since their powers operate under the light of any star and can absorb radiation and other usually harmful energies.
