     The Missing Cortez
    Captain Christopher Pike and his away team land take a shuttle craft down to a desert like planet in search for missing crewmen of the U.S.S. Cortez.  When the get to the surface they find two groups of ancient Vulcans who's ancestors have turned their backs on logical teaching 2,000 years ago.  This is trouble for the crew and not everyone will come home after the battle.

     Ancient Vulcan T'Kell I gave this book the benefit of doubt and gave it five stars.  Every book has been perfect so far.  This issue however is unique in the series as it is the first story of the series that takes place after the pilot episode.  It is also the first issue that is a two-parter.  Knowing how awesome the past books were and seeing no error here is where I base my rating.  Now that, that is out of the way let me voice my concerns.  The Enterprise finds a group of Vulcan who liv...
