Now feeling a lot smarter than a minute before.
I may not be a big fan about Spider-Woman but I am a big fan of the 3 minutes expert, I will always enjoy finding out something else about a character, the funny thing was I never knew her origin story was retconed, it is a bit more realist I guess but is it better, I wonder. Overall great video G-man and the comicvine staff, can't wait to see the next one.
What did I learn? Apparently Hydra doesn't give a rats ass about a woman's personal space and keeps her unnecessarily nude during all procedures. It's hilarious how they put a hair cap on her head in that surgery scene, but left the rest of her naked and exposed with a bunch of people surrounding her.
If it is a dye. I like her black hair more.
It's funny they were ever able to find her with that dye job. Just glasses has been working for Clark Kent for more than fifty years. lol
"@sora_thekey:I do remember reading an older Spider-Woman comic where her long black hair was just a wig... but under it her hair was black... so I'm guessing she decided to go with the black hair after that...
@G-Man: If it is a dye. I like her black hair more. It's funny they were ever able to find her with that dye job. Just glasses has been working for Clark Kent for more than fifty years. lol"
When I was like 5, one if my uncles had this VHS tape of Spiderwoman episodes that he recorded off TV, the only episode I'd watch over and over was this one episode where Spiderwoman teams up with Spiderman to fight mummified space aliens.
EDIT: also on the TV show, Jessica gets bitten and poisoned by a venomous spider as a child. To save her, her father treats her with an un-tested antidote which saves her life...but gives her the powers.
Kind of a confusing history. Not your typical super-hero bio. I remember a long time ago watching a her in a cartoon. For the life of me, I can't remember anything about it. Since she's nothing like Spider-man, or a real spider, for that matter, they should have given her a different name.
" Wow... Could you possibly have had more nudity in this? I mean, I still liked it, but it was a little over the top... "Spider-woman likes to get naked :P
It boosts her sales! Hey, it's a livin'!
Anyway, her costume is already ridiculously tight!
" @James Lasagnaboy said:More like Bendis and his juvenile crush on a fictional character likes her to get naked. One of many traits that makes him a creepy creepy man." Wow... Could you possibly have had more nudity in this? I mean, I still liked it, but it was a little over the top... "Spider-woman likes to get naked :P It boosts her sales! Hey, it's a livin'!
